With the widespread adoption and advancement of sheet-metal stamping processes, industrial robotics has emerged as a major industry in China. However, the sector’s level of automation remains relatively low; most companies still rely on manual labor combined with semi‑automated operations, resulting in both low production efficiency and frequent workplace accidents. The integrated application of industrial robots with CNC machine tools is transforming smart manufacturing and digital workshops—along with intelligent factories—from conceptual ideas into tangible realities.
The high-speed Miniload storage and retrieval system, independently developed for industrial robots, features rapid operation, lightweight construction, low noise, and stable performance. It can achieve a travel speed of up to 6 meters per second, with each unit capable of meeting a throughput requirement of 100 pick-and-place cycles per hour, thereby providing robust support for the efficient operation of logistics centers and enabling swift responses to production material‑request needs. It is also integrated with a goods‑to‑person picking system.
Based on preliminary research and analysis, given the warehouse’s diverse inventory of over 8,000 SKUs, stringent picking‑efficiency requirements, and limited available picking space, SINOMACH has introduced a new picking solution: three GTP goods‑to‑person picking workstations, each capable of handling more than 800 order lines.
In addition to the goods‑to‑person picking system, we have also provided customers with an intelligent voice‑guided picking solution that integrates seamlessly with the AGV system. Leveraging the AGVs’ mobility, high flexibility, strong controllability, and robust transport capacity, this solution frees pickers’ hands and boosts picking efficiency. Coupled with intelligent path optimization and scheduling from the upper‑level WMS, it enables integrated material picking and delivery operations within the warehouse, reducing handover points and significantly enhancing workshop logistics efficiency.
Through automated conveyor systems and intelligent logistics equipment such as bin elevators, the facility can meet requirements for automated material transport across multiple floors, emergency material requests, and anomaly handling, thereby achieving efficient material handling.
